PHOENIX, AZ – The 12th Annual Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week Awards breakfast presented by the Arizona Minority Business Development Center and Cox Communications is scheduled for Wednesday, August 3, 2005 from 7:30 – 9 a.m. at the Phoenix Civic Plaza Yuma Room, 111 N. 3rd St. in downtown Phoenix.
The theme for this year is “Minority Business Enterprise: The National Priority.” As part of the breakfast program, six companies and two minority business advocates will be honored for their efforts and accomplishments in small business.
The recipients are: Pass the Popcorn — Retail; compacDesign Electronics — Manufacturing; Skin Frenzy — Service; Southwest Business Essentials Supplier/Distribution; Sun Eagle Corporation — Construction; Fortis Networks — Technology; Lydia Aranda — Individual Advocate; and Wells Fargo — Corporate Minority Advocate.
