PHOENIX, AZ — For the second year in a row, Qwest Communications International Inc. will be the presenting sponsor for the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s (AZHCC) 47th Annual Black and White Ball and Second Annual Business Awards to be held Saturday April 23, 2005 at the Arizona Biltmore, 2400 E. Missouri. The event annually draws more than 1,000 people including various dignitaries, business and community leaders.
The event begins with a reception and silent auction at 6 p.m. with the dinner program starting at 7:30 p.m. As part of the program, the AZHCC will award its Man, Woman, Corporation and Entrepreneur of the Year award. In addition to the silent auction, the event will include a live auction &madash; a 4 night, 5 day trip to Brazil including round trip from Miami, Florida on business class, courtesy of TAM Airlines and Marina Tours. This package also includes roundtrip from Phoenix to Miami on coach. Prize valued at $12,500. There will also be a raffle for a $10,000 bracelet courtesy of Molina Fine Jewelers.
Other sponsors include Padrinos de Honor: American Family Insurance, Arizona Public Service, City of Phoenix Aviation Department, and Wells Fargo. The Silent Auction Padrino is Southwest Airlines and Molina Fine Jewelers is the Raffle Padrino.

The Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (AZHCC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the efforts of the local business community, especially small business owners. Furthermore, the AZHCC provides a voice for Hispanic businesses in the Valley through advocacy efforts at the local, state and national level.
