Arizona Hispanic Chamber Of Commerce Presents DATOS 2004, Focus On Arizona's Hispanic Market

PHOENIX, AZ - The Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (AZHCC) in collaboration with title sponsor Bank One and presenting sponsors City of Phoenix Aviation Department, Arizona Public Service, Arvizu Advertising and Promotions, American Express, Salt River Project, Arizona State University and media sponsors Univision and the Arizona Republic present DATOS 2004: Focus on Arizona's Hispanic Market at the Arizona Biltmore, 2400 E. Missouri, Phoenix.

The breakfast presentation, scheduled for Tuesday, October 12, 7:30 – 9:30 a.m., will provide an overview of the Hispanic market nationally as well as providing demographic information on Arizona's Hispanic population.

DATOS 2004 will offer a presentation on Hispanic trends by Dr. Loui Olivas, Arizona State University. The keynote address will be offered by Neil Comber Valdespino whose presentation is titled, Hispanic Consumer Future Sights: Reaching out, Connecting and Bonding. Valdespino joined Procter and Gamble's Advertising Department in Mexico after graduating from the University of the Americas. Following brand management training there, Valdespino came to the U.S. as brand manager for Scope mouthwash.

He then returned to Mexico to work on Ariel and other laundry and cleaning brands, before moving to the UK to work on Pampers and Crest. He later relocated to Madrid as advertising manager, overseeing marketing for the Spanish operations of Procter and Gamble.

The main purpose of DATOS 2004 is to provide the necessary link between Hispanic consumers and the local Arizona business community by providing valuable information that these businesses can then use to target services and products to the Hispanic consumer.

Individual tickets for DATOS 2004 are $60 for members and $80 for non-members. Tables of 10 are available at $600 for members and $800 for non-members.
