The Hispanic Women’s Alliance is a project of the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce designed to bring Latina-owned business owners in Arizona together to share common concerns and ideas that can help their businesses grow. The goal of the Alliance is to recruit and empower Latina-owned businesses as members of the AZHCC and to help their businesses be successful. Another goal of this group is also to provide training and professional growth opportunities to empower Latinas to be successful in all areas of life. In 2010, HWA has four exciting workshops scheduled. They’re part of the Chamber’s ongoing Small Business Empowerment Series. The first HWA workshop, "The Emerging Storm," was sponsored by State Farm Insurance on March 24. It presented four Latinas and the stories of how achieved their dreams of owning their own business. The second workshop, “Marketing Your Business On A Dime”, is scheduled for June 23. Sponsored by DeVry University, the workshop will feature Latina business owners discussing the best ways to stretch your marketing dollars. To register for the June 23 workshop, visit http://azhcchwa.eventbrite.com The third workshop, “Business Influence – How You Gain It and Lose It”, is scheduled for September 23, 2010. It’s sponsored by National Bank of Arizona. Additional details to be announced. Thank you for supporting the Hispanic Women’s Alliance. We’ll see you at the workshops.
