TapSnap your memories
TapSnap is the world’s leading entertainment and photo marketing service, with more than 160 photo booth franchises.
In Arizona, Carlos Tarazon is the face of TapSnap and the person behind the camera. If you’ve been to an Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce event recently, you’re bound to have seen him hard at work.
Tarazon said he launched his TapSnap franchise almost three years ago to escape the constraints of the corporate world: cubicles, water cooler gossip, a 9-5 work schedule, etc.
Tarazon said he loves nothing more than seeing the smiles on people’s faces when they see what TapSnap photo booths can do. He jokes that by the end of a typical work-week, his jaws muscles are sore from all the laughing and smiling he does at the events.
Once an event ends, that’s Tarazon’s cue to upload the photos he’s taken to either be printed or distributed via social media platforms. He says TapSnap’s goal is to be wherever family, friends and co-workers are having fun – and want a high quality visual keepsake of the event.
"Some people say they haven't had a family photo in a while," Tarazon said. "It is great to provide them with something like that. There is an emotional appeal to this business, it is undeniable."
TapSnap provides photo booth services for events ranging from holiday parties, galas, private and nonprofit conferences and other activities across the Valley. Recent clients include Los Abogados, Arizona Cardinals and the Phoenix Suns, and Tarazon credits the Arizona Hispanic Chamber for helping boost his company’s visibility with high profile companies.
"From the beginning, because we wanted to focus on the Hispanic community, business community and personal events, the Chamber was very key to this," Tarazon said. "I have only deepened my admiration, professional respect for the AZHCC and the entire team. I love bringing the TapSnap experience to the AZHCC events."
So, how’s business?
Tarazon said, "We are on track to have almost 150 percent in event growth and revenue year over year.”
