SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH THE SNAP PAUSE
The SNAP Pause and Its Impact on Arizona Families
The upcoming pause on SNAP benefits — also known as food stamps — will impact nearly 923,000 Arizonans, or about one in eight people across our state. SNAP typically provides nine meals for every one meal that food banks supply, meaning this pause will create a significant gap for families already working hard to make ends meet.
But there is hope. For every Arizonan who relies on SNAP, seven more can help — by donating, volunteering, or spreading awareness.
Together, we can fill the gap.
The Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is committed to connecting our community with the resources, organizations, and partnerships that ensure no family goes hungry during this time of need.
