The Arizona Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center and the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce celebrated the 11th Annual Business Diversity Summit on Friday, August 26, 2022 in a virtual format. The event recognized Minority-owned Businesses and Diversity Spend in Arizona.
Some of the state’s top entrepreneurs and procurement executives, community leaders, industry leaders, and public officials were able to experience the latest business insights and best practices on diversity and inclusion.

About The 2022 MDCE
Each year, the Arizona Million Dollar Circle of Excellence (AZ MDCE) program, spotlights and recognizes companies that execute at least $1 million in business with minority and women-owned suppliers within Arizona. Does your company value supplier diversity? Did your company spend a million dollars or more with women-owned and minority-owned businesses in Arizona over your last fiscal year? If the answer is yes, then we want to recognize you. If you meet the criteria, you are invited to apply for induction in the Annual Arizona Million Dollar Circle of Excellence recognition, at the virtual Business Diversity Summit.
The Arizona Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) Business Center, and its operator the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (AZHCC), co-founded the collaborative AZ Million Dollar Circle of Excellence (AZ MDCE) in 2012 in collaboration with several community partners, including the Greater Phoenix Black Chamber of Commerce, The American Indian Chamber of Commerce of Arizona, Associated Minority Contractors of America, the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of Arizona, and many more. Modeled after the globally-recognized Billion Dollar Roundtable, the AZ MDCE recognizes companies leading the way in supplier diversity by spending more than $1 million dollars annually (Tier 1) with Women and Minority- owned (W/MBEs) vendors in our state. Last year, despite the impact of COVID-19 on business, 19 companies submitted their spend report and were inducted into the 2022 AZ MDCE.
As an AZ MDCE inductee, your company will be recognized for its supplier diversity efforts and commitment to building a more diverse economic landscape of buyers and suppliers. This year we will recognize every inductee virtually at the virtual Business Diversity Summit as well as through a following email campaign.
